Job summary

Premium Parking in New Orleans is seeking a courteous Valet Attendant to greet guests and park vehicles. You will ensure safety and provide hospitality to guests, while handling both automatic and manual transmissions with care.

The role covers all shifts, full-time and part-time, with emphasis on speed, accuracy, and a positive guest experience. The position requires a valid license, 3 years of driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push a luggage cart up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Walk at a brisk pace or jog.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to push up to 100 pounds on a luggage cart.
• Exposure to all weather conditions, including rain, cold, heat and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and hospitality-focused attitude.
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles, including both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
• Assist guests with directions, questions, luggage, and parking-related needs.
• Maintain accurate vehicle information and document pre-existing vehicle damage when required.
• Support smooth traffic flow by directing vehicles and keeping drive lanes clear.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional parking environment.
• Assist with special events, high-volume periods, and site-specific operational needs.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards, equipment issues, or operational concerns.

Qualifications

• Bending, sitting, and standing repeatedly
• Pulling and pushing, as in opening and closing car doors, consistently for entire shift
• May be required to bend and twist as in getting in and out of a vehicle
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to push up to 100 pounds on a luggage cart
• Exposure to all weather conditions, including but not limited to: rain, cold, heat, and humidity

Preferred

• Must be able to drive and operate a standard and automatic transmission vehicle comfortably
• Previous experience in a related field preferred
• A minimum of 6 months of work experience preferred
