Job summary

L'Auberge Lake Charles in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a friendly valet attendant to greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and provide exceptional service with a smile. You’ll drive all makes and models, navigate stairs, and keep areas safe and organized in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, parking cars efficiently, reporting incidents, and performing related duties while maintaining confidentiality and high standards of guest service.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state Driver's License with no careless motor vehicle accidents and no moving violations in the last three years.
• Ability to drive all makes and models of motor vehicles.
• Must have effective verbal communication skills; must be able to speak and understand English.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to run on level surfaces as well as up and down stairs in order to park and retrieve vehicles as quickly as possible.

• Greets arriving and departing guests.
• Parks guest vehicles in specified areas in an efficient and safe manner.
• Retrieves customer vehicles from specified areas in an efficient and safe manner.
• Performs drive-and-park assignments per department policies and procedures.
• Promptly reports any incidents to supervisor.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
