  • Greets members and guests on arrival.
  • Opens main doors and assists with entering/leaving the property.

  • Places parking tag on windshield and issues tag for locating car.
  • Communicates parking procedures to visitors.
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles without damage.
  • Transports luggage to/from rooms and vehicles.
  • Maintains security of vehicles and belongings.
  • Reports vehicle incidents to management and security.
  • Monitors safety and cleanliness of parking areas.
  • Reroutes traffic when the parking lot is full.
  • Adheres to Club policies and safety protocols.

Summary

Greets members and guests upon arrival and provides customer service by parking and retrieving their vehicle and assisting with luggage at check-in/out.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Greets members and guests upon arrival.

  • Opens main doors and assists members and guest entering and leaving the property.

  • Assists with loading and unloading guests' luggage to/from their car.

  • Places numbered tag on windshield of automobile to be parked and hands member or guest similar tag to be used later in locating parked automobile.

  • Communicates parking procedures to visitors and guests.

  • Effectively parks and retrieves guests' vehicles without causing damage to the automobiles.

  • Drives/operates manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

  • Transfers luggage and packages to and from rooms, loading areas and vehicles.

  • Maintains the security of vehicles, belongings kept inside the car and vehicle keys.

  • Documents and reports all vehicle incidents such as damages, accidents, injuries, theft, missing articles, etc. to management and security.

  • Monitors and maintains safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas and valet areas.

  • Reroutes traffic when parking facility reaches maximum capacity.

  • Adheres to all Club policies and safety protocols.


Qualifications

License Requirements

Valid Driver’s License with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR). Operator’s license must be valid for a minimum of 3 years (excluding learner’s permit). Must be able to pass Club's insurability guidelines.


Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have minimum of six months to one year prior valet, chauffer &/or transportation related experience.


Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.


Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; climb; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to run from the parking lot to the main entrance on a regular basis and frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
