This is a fast-paced, high-energy role that requires frequent running, standing, walking, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.The ideal candidate is energetic, safety-minded, guest-focused, and able to move quickly while maintaining professionalism and care. Valet Attendants must be comfortable operating a variety of vehicles, communicating clearly with guests and team members, and supporting smooth traffic flow at the resort entrance.ResponsibilitiesGreet all guests promptly, warmly, and professionally upon arrival.Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a fast-paced valet environment.Run, walk, and move quickly between the valet area, vehicle staging areas, and parking locations throughout the shift.Open vehicle doors, assist guests with directions, and provide general resort information when needed.Maintain excellent guest service while managing multiple vehicle requests during peak business periods.Ensure accurate handling of valet tickets, keys, vehicle logs, and related documentation.Inspect vehicles for visible damage before parking and report concerns according to department procedures.Follow all company safety procedures while driving, parking, and retrieving vehicles.Maintain organized key control and protect guest property at all times.Assist with traffic flow at the entrance, including directing vehicles and keeping drive lanes clear.Communicate effectively with Valet, Bell, Security, Front Desk, and other departments to support guest service.Maintain cleanliness and order in valet staging, booth, and surrounding areas.Respond professionally to guest concerns and escalate issues to leadership when appropriate.Operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, if required by department standards.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age.Valid driver’s license required with a clean and acceptable driving record.Ability to safely operate a wide variety of guest vehicles.Previous valet, parking, hospitality, guest service, or driving experience preferred.Must be able to obtain and maintain any required licenses or certifications.Strong guest service, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.Ability to remain professional, courteous, and calm during high-volume periods.Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and special events.Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and department policies.Physical DemandsThis position is physically active and requires sustained movement throughout the shift.
