Job summary

Valley Avenue Dairy Queen in Winchester, VA is seeking energetic team members to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will multi-task across register, ice cream preparation, drive-thru and grill duties while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

We value teamwork and a positive attitude, with opportunities for growth. Positions require 32+ hours per week and weekend/evening shifts. Health benefits and other perks are offered after a probationary period.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interact with the public in a friendly and professional manner.
• Basic computer skills are required for transactions and scheduling.
• Willingness to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and process transactions.
• Prepare ice cream products and assist with food preparation.
• Handle drive-thru orders and assist customers.
• Work on the grill and assist with kitchen duties.
• Clean dishes and maintain kitchen and dining areas.
• Take out trash and perform basic cleaning including equipment.
• Operate a computer and manage emails/attachments as needed.
• Fulfill other duties requested by management.

Job responsibilities may include:

• Running a register
• Making ice cream products
• Working the drive-thru

• Other duties as requested by management

Requirements:

• 32+ hours per week
• Must work weekends and two evenings per week
• Ability to work with the public and as a part of a team
