Job summary

Deborah is seeking a Nurse Practitioner-level professional to oversee care for ventricular assist device patients in Browns Mills, NJ. You will coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team with the Heart Failure Medical Director and drive continuous improvement in outcomes.

The role requires leadership of nurses and cardiologists, with emphasis on advanced clinical skills, prescriptive authority, and ongoing professional development within our nursing department.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing from an ANA-accredited program.
• New Jersey RN license and APN certification with prescriptive authority.
• CDS and DEA licenses required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of care for VAD patients.
• Coordinate patient care across the multidisciplinary team and with Heart Failure Medical Director.
• Lead performance improvement efforts to improve patient outcomes and mentor nursing staff.
• Support participation in heart failure and mechanical circulatory support research trials.
