Job summary

Vance Airscoop is hiring for a CDL vacuum truck operator. The role requires early starts around 5 am and a 40+ hour week, with responsibilities including pumping, cleaning, and servicing liquid waste accounts. You will handle special pickups, organize waste transfers, and assist fleet maintenance.

Manual transmission experience is required, and you will contribute to shop organization while taking on special projects as requested by management.

Qualifications

• CDL license required for driving a vacuum truck.
• Comfortable operating a manual transmission vehicle.
• Willingness to work 40+ hours per week with early start time.
• Experience with vacuum truck pumping and cleaning is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures during liquid waste handling.

Responsibilities

• Drive CDL vacuum truck and perform pumping and cleaning of liquid waste accounts.
• Handle special pickups and emergency pickups as needed.
• Organize and monitor cooking oil, grease and septic transfers.
• Assist with fleet operations, vehicle maintenance and condition.
• Support shop organization and participate in special projects as assigned.

Job description

Performs CDL driving and tank pumping and cleaning: 40+ hours per week

• 5 am start time, 8+ hour workday, can be adjusted by manager and employee
• responsible for vacuum truck driving and service of all liquid waste accounts, special pickups and emergency pickups possible
• organize and monitor cooking oil, grease and septic transfers
• assist with vehicle fleet operations, maintenance and condition
• Comfortable driving a manual transmission
• assist with shop organization
• Special projects as requested by manager(s)

1. Contact and speak with supervisor before leaving for the day
2. Perform CDL inspections on your vehicle and support maintenance
