Job summary

ICES: Data, Discovery, Better Health in Texas seeks an experienced vacuum truck driver. The role requires a Class A CDL with tanker endorsements and the ability to pass a driving test. You will perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and work with the team to ensure safe operations.

Applicants should be able to lift heavy loads, climb stairs with equipment, and maintain a clean driving record. Strong communication and adaptability to changing conditions are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a vacuum truck driver.
• Clean Driving Record and able to pass a Driving Test.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsements.
• Current medical examiners certificate.
• Pass a Pre-Employment drug test.
• Properly perform pre-trip / post-trip inspections on truck.
• Ability to perform daily work requirements such as: lift 50 plus pounds, climb stairs while carrying 50 plus pounds, pull, push, and lift hoses daily, use required tools correctly, comply with company and on-site safety regulations daily.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vacuum truck.
• Operate vacuum truck in daily tasks and coordinate with team to ensure safety.
• Assist with lifting and moving hoses and equipment as required.
