Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced Vacuum Truck Operator for the Lake Charles, LA area. The role involves transporting and operating various vacuum trucks, loaded or unloaded, in accordance with client and company requirements.

Essential qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid CDL with vacuum experience, TWIC card, and adherence to DOT regulations. Safety gear and post-offer drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• TWIC card required.
• CDL vacuum experience in industrial environments preferred.
• Must hold CDL license.
• Safety training and/or industrial safety experience preferred.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures for client and company.
• Maintain CDL driver qualifications and updated license.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading of vacuum trucks; secure load.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Relay equipment deficiencies to supervisor or mechanic for resolution.
• Direct Vacuum Technicians under certain conditions and oversee safety execution.
• Complete additional tasks per supervisor's direction.
