Job summary

Turner Industries’ Turner Specialty Services is seeking an experienced Vacuum Truck Operator for work across the Texas area. You will transport and operate multiple vacuum trucks, ensuring secure loads and adherence to client and company safety policies.

The role requires a CDL, TWIC, DOT familiarity, and the ability to read routes and procedures. Physical stamina and willingness to perform maintenance and supervise technicians are important. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• DOT regulations knowledge is essential for safe operation.
• TWIC card is required for access to certain sites.
• CDL license is required to operate commercial vacuum trucks.
• Experience with vacuum trucks and manual transmission is preferred.
• Safety training and compliance with PPE is mandatory.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen is required.
• Safety equipment (hard hat, glasses, boots, etc.) must be used as required.
• Ability to read and follow travel routes, tickets, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive vacuum trucks safely according to client and company standards.
• Load/unload and secure hoses and vacuum equipment; move between sites as needed.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain DOT compliance and accurate tickets/documentation.
• Coordinate with supervisors and vacuum technicians; oversee basic safety on site.
