Job summary

Atlas Copco/Gamma Vacuum in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Full Time, On-Site Mechanical Designer/Engineer to design and document mechanical components used in our Vacuum Pumps and Controllers.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, at least two years of experience, and proficiency with Creo CAD, ERP systems, and GD&T. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical design preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering field.
• Vacuum product exposure preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and drafting of vacuum products based on requirements.
• Create tooling design documentation used in manufacturing processes.
• Interface with Electrical Engineering to design electronic product chassis and hardware.
• Develop accurate drawings based on current drafting standards.
• Communicate with vendors for prototypes.
• Manage ECO and CWR documentation.
