Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver expert repair services for vacuum pumps and systems across the assigned region. You will troubleshoot, service, install, and document activities, while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction on every visit.

You will report to the Field Service Manager and frequently travel to customer sites, sometimes on short notice, to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance. English fluency required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with technical training in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• 1–2 years of experience maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
• HVAC knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with strong self-management.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Fluent in English and willingness for extensive travel.

Responsibilities

• Report into the Field Service Manager.
• Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair vacuum pumps and systems.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
