Job summary

Atlas Copco seeks a Field Service Engineer to service vacuum pumps and systems across customer sites. You will inspect, troubleshoot, install, and document activities while ensuring safety and uptime for customers.

The role requires 1–2 years of field experience, English fluency, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays. You will be part of a dynamic field service team with remote work elements and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with vacuum pumps or systems preferred.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Fluent in English and able to work on-call evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments with temperature extremes.

Responsibilities

• Report into the Field Service Manager.
• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair vacuum pumps and systems; diagnose issues to prevent downtime.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, document activities.
• Be on-site contact; provide service recommendations and address customer needs.
