Job summary

Edwards, part of the Atlas Copco group, is seeking a technician to repair and rebuild vacuum pumps to manufacturer specifications. You will test equipment to meet quality standards, document results, and ensure safe, precise handling of parts throughout the process.

The role requires basic mechanical experience, ability to use hand and power tools, and a focus on accuracy and safety. Training on OEM manuals and equipment models will be provided in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• One (1) year in a mechanic or related role.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Proven history of working with measuring devices.
• Proven history of working in a detail-oriented role.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, decontaminate, clean, and inspect vacuum pumps for repair.
• Repair/rebuild pumps using manufacturer specifications and test for QC.
• Read OEM manuals and engineering drawings; measure parts for conformance.
• Prepare pumps for shipping, including pallets, documentation and packing slips.
• Record test results accurately on work orders.
