Job summary

Seafood Production is seeking a Vac Packer to join our production team in Fall River, MA. You will support the Seafood Packaging Team by preparing seafood for vacuum packaging and ensuring accurate labeling and handling.

The ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail, dependable attendance, and the ability to work in a cold, fast-paced environment while strictly following food safety and sanitation procedures. This role offers steady hours and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Experience in seafood processing or food production preferred.
• Ability to work in a cold, wet production environment.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Willingness to follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare seafood for vacuum packaging.
• Place seafood into vacuum-seal bags or packaging.
• Operate vacuum packing equipment safely.
• Inspect packages for proper seal and no leaks.
• Weigh, label, date, and organize packaged products.
