Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Packager to support our production line. You will tend packaging machines, feed product to conveyors, and ensure accurate counts and packaging to company standards.

This role involves working in wet, humid, and cold conditions with moving parts, requiring attention to safety, cleanliness, and teamwork; on-the-job training will cover SSOPs and proper PPE usage.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret simple written instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods in a wet, cold production environment.

Responsibilities

• Tends machine(s) to feed product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices.
• Counts items packed to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Monitors product feed into pasteurizers.
• Inspects filled container to ensure packaging accuracy.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment and work area per SSOP.
• Uses PPE per company standards and reports irregularities to supervisor.
