ROLE SUMMARY

The Vaccines & Antivirals Field Medical, Director is responsible for providing therapeutic area/product expertise across a broad range of external medical stakeholders (EMS) and initiatives within an assigned territory (Washington, Oregon, Alaska).

Key responsibilities include:

1. Planning and executing independent Medical strategies and engagements with external medical stakeholders, ensuring compliance and coordination with Pfizer colleagues.
2. Maintaining knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas/disease states and Pfizer medicines, providing information to internal and external stakeholders.
3. Serving as a resource for Medical Information and external stakeholder insights, sharing information and viewpoints appropriately.
4. Understanding Pfizer Medical Affairs priorities to contribute to educational content strategy and execute aligned field tactics.
5. Ensuring effective communication and collaboration among headquarters Medical colleagues, Medical Information, and Field Medical teams.
6. Demonstrating expertise in scientific communication across multiple channels and formats.
7. Optimizing patient care through medical communications, incorporating health literacy and cultural awareness principles.
8. Conducting all activities in compliance with policies, procedures, and guidance.
9. Educating external stakeholders to enhance understanding of disease states, guidelines, and patient care.
10. Achieving engagement targets with external medical stakeholders.
