Job summary

Profound Research is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support high-volume vaccine studies at a site-based facility. You’ll gain hands-on experience in study coordination, patient interaction, data collection, and clinical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work under experienced staff, learning to apply GCP standards and site procedures. This 1099 role offers growth potential toward full-time opportunities based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or technical degree with 3+ years of life sciences experience, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s with relevant experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Clear, professional communication with patients, caregivers, staff, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with standard computer tools; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with patients and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-volume vaccine clinical trials, including patient visits, scheduling, and study procedures.
• Assist with data collection and documentation while applying Good Clinical Practice standards.
• Perform clinical procedures such as vital signs, phlebotomy, and specimen processing as trained.
• Prepare for and support efficient participant visits, rooming patients, organizing supplies, and keeping the site team aligned.
• Interact with study participants, explain visit steps, answer questions, and ensure patient comfort.
• Collaborate with CRCs and site leadership, seek feedback, and build clinical research knowledge.
• Follow study protocols, SOPs, GCP, GDP, and infection control to ensure compliant, audit-ready trial execution.
• Maintain organized study materials, supplies, documentation, and lab workflows for visits and site operations.
• Communicate clearly with site team about patient needs, visit flow, and documentation status.
• Contribute to a fast-paced, team-based site environment where quality, urgency, and patient experience matter.
