Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology or related field.
• Minimum of six years' GMP biopharma vaccine production experience.
• At least four years in a leadership role managing people and projects.
• Cross-functional networking to influence manufacturing requirements.
• Experience with ERP and automated process control systems, SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer company policies and safety program.
• Direct and supervise the manufacturing operations to produce high quality vaccine products.
• Troubleshoot production problems, document findings, and implement solutions.
• Communicate progress, issues and ideas to management.
• Train staff in GMPs and production policies.
• Interface with other department managers to coordinate activities.
• Prepare annual budgets and monitor expenses.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and environmental health and safety requirements.
• Ensure manufacturing equipment is available and compliant.
