Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking an Associate Principal to join our Policy Practice Vaccines Team. This role leads multiple vaccine policy and market access projects, interfacing with clients and guiding strategic and operational decisions.

The role emphasizes developing offerings, contributing to business development, and mentoring staff within the practice, with a flexible remote work setup across US hubs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health policy, public policy, public health, healthcare management, business administration, health economics, or biological sciences.
• 6+ years of relevant healthcare consulting or vaccine policy experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on vaccine coverage, payment and reimbursement strategies.
• Generate strategic and tactical recommendations for clients’ policy and business needs.
• Lead day-to-day project execution, managing teams and timelines.
• Develop new offerings in response to changing client needs.
• Lead business development discussions to contribute to annual goals.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff across the practice.
