Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee vaccine component preparation and production scheduling. You will coordinate with groups, supervise activities, and ensure regulatory compliance in a cGMP environment.

The role requires strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with experience in Lean manufacturing and fluency in Microsoft Office. A BS in Biology or related field with relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience or a BS with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills – coaching and training.
• Knowledge of current GMPs and USDA requirements.
• Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing, product lifecycle, risks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily/weekly production schedule and allocate resources to production teams.
• Ensure production schedule and documentation meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversee training and qualification of team members.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in good condition and compliant with standards.
• Review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor team performance via KPIs and report to leaders.
