Job summary

New Grad’s Vaccine Manufacturing Automation Co-op at West Point, PA provides up to six months of hands-on automation experience in a GMP-driven vaccine production setting. You will participate in simulations, document GMP procedures, and support daily operations while collaborating with technology, quality, planning, and validation teams.

This role enhances engineering and operations skills inside a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business and Engineering, or a major within the College of Computing and Informatics.
• Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and writing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a variety of automation projects in support of vaccine manufacturing at the Company's West Point, PA site.
• Work with computer simulation to test proposed changes before implementation in the manufacturing environment.
• Author new and update existing GMP documentation.
• Involve daily plant operation, including upgrades and maintenance support for manufacturing equipment and cross-functional interaction with production support groups.
• Gain understanding of GMPs, safety, environmental requirements and practical equipment operation.
