Merck's Future Talent Program at the West Point, PA site offers cooperative assignments up to 6 months within the Manufacturing & Supply Division. This role provides development opportunities and a chance to see if Merck is the right long-term fit.

You will participate in automation projects, use simulations to validate changes, and author or update GMP documentation while engaging with multiple production support groups and daily plant operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business and Engineering, or a major within the College of Computing and Informatics.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Complete automation projects supporting vaccine manufacturing at West Point, PA site.
• Work with computer simulation to test proposed changes before implementation in the manufacturing environment.
• Author new and update existing GMP documentation.
• Involvement with daily plant operation, including upgrades and maintenance support for manufacturing equipment and interaction with production support groups.
• Gain understanding of GMPs, safety, environmental requirements and practical equipment operation.
