Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an Analytical Scientist to support vaccine development through routine sample testing and careful data analysis. You will prepare samples, set up instruments and document results in compliance with Pfizer/GCLP standards.

Under supervision, you will assist with assay analyses, draft methods, and plan daily workflows. This role emphasizes meticulous lab work and collaborative problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline plus 2+ years of analytical work.
• Proficiency in HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis and spectroscopy.
• Experience with biomolecule characterization (proteins, polysaccharides, lipid nanoparticles).
• Familiarity with data analysis software such as ChemStation, OpenLab, Empower.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision perform routine sample testing for vaccine development.
• Prepare samples, run instruments and analyze data.
• Document experiments and report using electronic notebook per Pfizer/GCLP.
• With guidance execute routine analysis of vaccine candidates.
• Draft and revise laboratory methods and reports.
• Plan daily workflow to complete supervisor tasks.
