Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an Analytical Chemist for a contract role in Pearl River, NY. The successful candidate will conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to support research and product development.

A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field is required, along with 2–4 years of experience in an analytical laboratory. Strong knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is essential.

This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $28 to $32, with additional benefits available through Atrium.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in an analytical laboratory setting, preferably in pharmaceuticals, environmental science, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of analytical instrumentation and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analyses using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and titration.
• Develop, validate, and document analytical methods for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with GLP and regulatory requirements.
