Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a diligent Property Maintenance Engineer to oversee daily operations of our vacation rental homes in Georgia. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep properties guest-ready and safe.

The role requires basic hand-tools, knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and the ability to coordinate with guests, homeowners and team members. You’ll contribute to high standards of quality and hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent trade school, special courses in building maintenance and construction.
• Ability to operate with basic hand-tools, miter saws, drills and other components within the engineering department.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on homes in our Vacation Rental Program.
• Conduct pre-arrival and departure walkthroughs to determine if any repairs are necessary before the next guest arrivals.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general maintenance duties in the engineering spaces as well as other assigned daily operations.
• Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and the ability to perform PMs on ice machines and assist kitchen staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems to diagnose, change filters, and report issues.
• Respond to all emergency situations including fire alarms, threats, disasters and power failures; notify appropriate authorities.
• Assist with community and property preventative measures and recovery related to inclement weather.
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
• Communicate information and Resort services to management, staff and guests.
