Job summary

DFA/Kemps Dairy is hiring Vacation Relief operators to perform order picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, and loading/unloading for outgoing deliveries. You will work across stations or lines and operate equipment in a cooler, freezer, or dock environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to perform basic math, and be comfortable in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug and background checks.
• Able to stand, walk, lift and move cases up to 6-8 high.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, and build orders; palletize products and load/unload materials.
• Operate various equipment safely within warehouse, cooler, freezer, or dock environments.
• Staging materials for outgoing deliveries and supporting assigned stations/lines.
• Support a flexible shift schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
