Job summary

CALIBRE is seeking a Transition Assistance Program Site Lead to support VA transition activities at MAGTFTC Twentynine Palms. The role involves conducting standardized VA Benefits and Services Briefings, one-on-one engagements, pre-separation counseling, and warm-handover support.

Responsibilities include staffing, event management, travel planning, and risk/quality management at the assigned installation. You will lead site meetings, communicate updates, and deliver post-event data collection

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–7 years’ equivalent work/military experience.
• Preferred emphasis in Training, Education, Career Counseling, or HR.
• Appropriate certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct transition activities at MAGTFTC Twentynine Palms, including VA Benefits and Services Briefings and counseling support.
• Coordinate staffing, event management and logistics at the installation.
• Ensure quality and risk management in operations and communications.
• Lead weekly Site Lead meetings with staff and other points of contact.
• Inform staff about new policies, procedures and operational guidance.
• Execute post-event data collection and reporting for transition activities.
• Manage travel planning and coverage models for the installation.
• Schedule field staff training at the installation.
• Review orders and manage inventory for assigned tasks.
• Participate in weekly leadership teleconferences and virtual meetings.
• Support non-event activities at the installation as needed.

CALIBRE is an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company, is looking for a Transition Assistance Program Site Lead to support our client at MAGTFTC Twentynine Palms.

Compensation: This position pays $28.19 per hour, plus an additional $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) benefit. The H&W benefit is provided in accordance with the Service Contract Act (SCA) and is used to help cover the cost of eligible medical and other qualifying employee benefits.

Conduct transition activities in support of the VA. Transition support includes conducting standardized VA Benefits and Services Briefings, one-on-one engagements, pre-separation counseling support, military life cycle (MLC) events, Capstone events, and warm-handover support.

Executes staffing, event management and logistics activities at assigned installation; ensures integrated and proactive communications, quality management and risk management practices. Responsibilities may include:

• Operational deployment activities for staff at assigned installation
• Executing non-event Activities at assigned installation
• Travel management activities for staff at assigned installation
• Developing coverage model for assigned installation
• Schedule field staff training at assigned installation
• Execute order review and inventory management activities at assigned installation
• Participate in weekly leadership teleconferences/virtual meetings
• Lead weekly Site Lead meetings with staff and other installation points of contact
• Inform installation staff about new policies, procedures and operational guidance
• Execute quality management activities at assigned installation
• Execute risk and issue management activities at assigned installation
• Deliver onsite activities and execute post-event data collection activities
