Responsibilities

• Prepare Ingredients
  • Wash, peel, cut, and portion vegetables and other ingredients.
  • Marinate or season food items according to Popeyes’ recipes and standards.
• Batch Cooking & Portioning
  • Cook or prepare food items in advance (e.g., rice, sides, sauces).
  • Portion items accurately to reduce waste and ensure consistency.
• Follow Recipes and Guidelines
  • Adhere to Popeyes’ food preparation standards and recipes.
  • Ensure food safety and portion control at all times.
• Keep Stations Stocked
  • Restock line stations with prepped items before and during busy periods.
  • Rotate stock and label items with dates using FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Maintain Cleanliness
  • Keep prep area clean and organized at all times.
  • Sanitize surfaces, tools, and equipment regularly.
• Assist the Kitchen Team
  • Support cooks and other kitchen staff with prep or cooking tasks as needed.
  • Help with dishwashing or cleaning during downtime.
