Job summary

Aptive is looking for Primary Care Registered Nurses to provide direct and indirect care to Veterans at the Dayton VA Medical Center. This full-time position requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary PACT team and involves conducting patient assessments, administering medications, and educating patients.

The ideal candidate will have an active Ohio RN license and experience in patient care. Benefits include working weekdays with no federal holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year direct patient care within the last 3 years.
• ACLS required if assigned to specialty clinic.
• Must pass background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and IV therapies; document in EHR.
• Monitor vital signs, interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to emergencies.
