Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services seeks a full-time locum Primary Care Physician for the Lyle C. Pearson VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Mankato, MN. You will deliver comprehensive primary care to veterans, manage a patient panel, and provide patient-centered care aligned with VA standards.

The role is onsite with a Monday-Friday schedule, requires board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine, active US medical licensure, DEA, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, or DC.
• Current DEA Registration.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA Preferred).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult veteran patients.
• Conduct annual wellness examinations and chronic disease management.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat medical conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
• Coordinate specialty referrals and follow-up care.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with VA policies, documentation requirements, HIPAA, and privacy regulations.
• Ability to accurately document patient encounters within required VA timeframes and have proficiency with Electronic Health Records.
