Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a qualified NP or PA in Las Cruces, NM to review Veterans' medical records, perform VA General Medicine examinations, and complete DBQs according to VA guidelines. You will document objective findings and prepare detailed medical reports.

The role supports independence within clinical protocols, collaborative team work, and flexible scheduling options (FT/PT/PRN) with no on-call duties, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Collaborative agreement with supervising physician as required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while following established clinical protocols.
