Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to review Veterans' medical records, perform VA General Medicine exams, and document findings.

You will complete DBQs, prepare detailed reports, and ensure compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and state/federal laws. Flexible scheduling options available; all roles are full-time, part-time, or PRN.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Collaborative agreement with supervising physician where required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while following established clinical protocols.
