Job summary

DirectShifts seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct VA Compensation & Pension General Medicine examinations and complete DBQs in line with VA guidelines.

You will review Veterans' medical histories, perform comprehensive physicals, and document findings to support disability evaluations, while ensuring HIPAA and regulatory compliance. Flexible scheduling is available (FT/PT/PRN).

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Must have a collaborative agreement with supervising physician where required by state law.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to clinical protocols.
