Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible General Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to perform disability evaluations and related duties. In this role, you will conduct VA C&P examinations, review medical records, and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires.

The position offers flexible scheduling for Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN opportunities without on-call responsibilities. Applicants should possess strong clinical assessment skills and an active, unrestricted medical license.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible General Medicine Physician (MD/DO).
• Active, unrestricted MD, DO license.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical records and relevant documentation before each evaluation.
• Conduct comprehensive General Medicine examinations.
• Accurately complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and required reports.
• Document findings clearly and objectively.
• Maintain compliance with VA guidelines and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams.
