We are hiring Caregivers/HHA/PCAs to work one-on-one with our in-home VA patients in Waterford, CT and the surrounding area.

• Earn PTO while working 32+ Hours

• Starting pay rate: $16.35 per hour

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions for individuals, enabling them to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when business travel is required.
• Provides or assists clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, dental and mouth care, nail care, skin care, transfers, and toileting assistance.
• Assists with household tasks directly related to clients' personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Experience in home care preferred.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet patients' needs.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
