Job Summary

The Home and Community Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions for individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Reports observations of the client's condition and notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt during business travel.
• Provides or assists clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Assists with household tasks essential to clients' personal care.

Experience Desired

• Experience in home care preferred.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours to meet patients' needs.
• Ability to work independently in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
