We are hiring Caregivers/HHA/PCAs to work one-on-one with our in-home VA patients in New Milford, CT and the surrounding area.

• One Patient at a Time
• Earn PTO while working 32+ Hours
• Weekly Pay & Flexible Scheduling
• Starting pay rate: $16.35 per hour

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when travel is required.
• May assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, and transfers (bed to chair, wheelchair, bedpan, toilet, etc.).
• Assists with household tasks directly related to clients' personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Experience in home care preferred.

• Ability to work flexible hours to meet patient needs.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse home situations regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
