We are hiring PCA/Home Health Aides/Caregivers to work one-on-one with our in-home VA patients in Bridgeport, CT and the surrounding area. All shifts available!

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide supports individuals by assisting with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling them to remain in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Report observations of the client’s condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager and notify immediately of any incidents or accidents
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt during business travel
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers
• Assist with household tasks essential to the clients’ personal care

Desired Experience and Skills

• Experience in home care preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours as required
• Ability to work independently in diverse home situations
• Good communication, organizational, and writing skills
