We are seeking a Vice President of Operations to join our growing team. The V.P. of Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across part of the Company’s portfolio, driving business performance, revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This role partners with site leadership and corporate teams to strengthen management capabilities, optimize resources, support business expansion, and ensure consistent execution of organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide strategic direction and operational leadership to site management teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives and performance expectations.
- Coach, mentor, and develop leaders to strengthen management capabilities, improve performance, and build a strong pipeline of future leadership talent.
- Partner with Human Resources to align staffing levels with operational needs, business forecasts, and revenue projections.
- Lead budgeting and financial planning efforts, monitor performance, and provide timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Establish, monitor, and support the achievement of operational, financial, and organizational performance goals.
- Serve as an escalation point for significant client and customer concerns, ensuring timely resolution and strong business relationships.
- Lead operational integration and implementation efforts for new sites, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives, projects, and process improvements.
- Allocate resources effectively to support site operations, business needs, and growth objectives.
- Identify and implement best practices that improve efficiency, service quality, profitability, and overall operational performance.
- Partner with Directors to evaluate performance, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, conduct performance reviews, and address performance concerns as needed.
- Oversee key vendor and client relationships to support productivity, service standards, and business objectives.
- Ensure operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and established standards.
- Participate in regular leadership meetings and communication forums to maintain alignment and accountability across the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements Include:
- 10+ years of senior-level operations leadership experience in hospitality or multi-site operations, preferably supporting the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, or similar agencies.
- Proven executive leadership experience overseeing multi-site operations, driving financial performance and business growth, developing leaders, and executing strategic initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to develop high-performing teams, lead through change, and manage multiple business priorities.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, accountability, and a results-oriented approach.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% to support existing operations and new business opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
