Job summary

Permobil is hiring an Associate V&I Assembler 1 in Belleville, IL. You will add final components to quality products, following established procedures, and work on IFC installation/assembly as needed.

The role requires an Associate level education, ability to read simple instructions, and willingness to work overtime. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $17.50 per hour, with full-time hours and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Level.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information one-on-one or in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Add final components to cushions by cleaning, inserting valves and grommets, and inflating cushions per procedures.
• Assemble products by gluing hoses, inspecting components, applying labels, and installing IFC valves.
• Support IFC installation/assembly as needed to keep operations flowing smoothly.
• Maintain quality by reading and filling work orders accurately, ensuring pace, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and report safety hazards to supervisor.
• Attend workshops and trainings to keep technical knowledge up to date.
• Highlight cross-functional collaboration and ownership; emphasize continuous improvement.
