Job summary

The L.S. Starrett Company in Athol, MA is seeking an Assembler I to build, test and adjust precision components at floor stations. You will follow safety policies and workmanship standards to ensure products meet specifications.

Responsibilities include assembling, testing and repairing parts, measuring to conformance, and trimming surfaces for proper fit, all while maintaining quality and efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

Physical Requirements

• Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and
• equipment up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel,
• reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable working in a shop environment that may include noise,
• machine operation, metal chips, oils and varying temperatures.

Range: $19.60 - $22.00/hour based on experience
