Qualifications

• Has a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ideally has 0-1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Is able to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Is able to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Has basic computer skills.
• Is able to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions and parts lists.
• Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
• Assemble components and examine connections.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Contribute to team effort by training others in basic assembly tasks.
• Document actions by completing production forms.

Skills

Ability to safely use small hand and power tools

Basic computer skills

Ability to read and interpret drawings and bills of materials

Understanding verbal instructions in English
