Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks a Quality Assurance Representative to support V-22 modification efforts at MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. This is a long-term international assignment with relocation support and international health requirements.

The role is 100% on-site at MCAS Futenma and requires extensive aircraft maintenance/modification and QA experience, including CDI/CDQAR/QAR credentials, with the ability to meet stringent regulatory standards and work across shifts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance/modification.
• 3+ years of V-22 aircraft experience.
• 3+ years of Quality Assurance Inspector experience (CDI, CDQAR, QAR, 7-level).
• Experience interpreting and utilizing aircraft technical data.
• Willing to work variable shifts (shift 1, 2, or 3).

Responsibilities

• Develops and motivates a team of diverse skills, capability, and experience to maximize individual and team performance.
• Performs inspections on aircraft for modification activities on the V-22 platform.
• Maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures.
• Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems.
• Performs internal audits to determine compliance with Quality Management System standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Documents audit results in standard formats.
• Works under general direction.
