Job summary

Boeing Aerospace Operations BGS seeks an Experienced V-22 Aircraft Maintenance and Modification Technician to support V-22 Maintenance & Modifications at MCAS Miramar, CA. The role is 100% onsite with potential short-notice travel to various locations, domestically and internationally, and may require relocation based on project needs.

The candidate should have knowledge of V-22 maintenance and modification, and experience in Electrical/Avionics or Airframes systems, with emphasis on safety,

Qualifications

• Experience with V-22 maintenance/modification required.
• Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and potentially internationally on short notice.
• Willingness to relocate to meet customer needs and explore deployment options.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble and repair aerospace components per specifications.
• Replace components for testing and serviceability.
• Diagnose and resolve routine to complex issues in aerospace systems.
• Coordinate and manage assembly/overhaul activities for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct functional/diagnostic tests using test equipment and instruments.
• Validate and verify system and component serviceability after modifications.
• Document repairs, test results, and modifications per procedures.
• Identify discrepancies and assist engineering to resolve issues.
• Ensure proper part identification and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Visually inspect components for cleanliness and serviceability.
• Perform modifications to deliverables independently and ensure compliance.
