Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to support V-22 modification efforts at MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. This long-term assignment requires relocation with benefits and international health requirements.

The role focuses on planning, execution and delivery of quality products and services, working on-site with leadership. Ideal candidates have extensive aircraft maintenance/modification experience and V-22 expertise, plus a strong background in Quality Assurance and adherence

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance/modification
• 3+ years of V-22 aircraft experience
• 3+ years of Quality Assurance Inspector experience (CDI, CDQAR, QAR, 7-level)
• Experience in interpreting and utilizing aircraft technical data
• Willing to work variable shifts (shift 1, 2, or 3)

Responsibilities

• Develops and motivates a team of diverse skills, capability, and experience to maximize individual and team performance
• Performs inspections on aircraft for modification activities on the V-22 platform
• Maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures
• Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems
• Performs internal audits to determine compliance with Quality Management System standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements
• Documents audit results in standard formats
• Works under general direction
