Job summary

OWT Global, LLC in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Software Engineer Level II to advance software for unmanned systems. You will work on navigation, sensor fusion, and ground control interfaces, delivering robust production software in an agile environment.

The role requires strong C/C++ and Python skills, experience with BetaFlight, ArduPilot, PX4, and QGroundControl, and the ability to integrate software across embedded hardware and flight controllers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on software experience with C/C++ in a defense/industrial environment.
• Experience with unmanned systems software and ground control software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain software for unmanned systems.
• Develop autonomous navigation and path planning capabilities.
• Integrate navigation with UxS flight control systems and ground control software.
• Troubleshoot hardware–software interface issues and build software from source.
• Develop and maintain data interfaces for sensors and actuators.
