Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. seeks a UX/UI Designer to craft engaging experiences across ICE's digital properties. You will translate requirements into intuitive interfaces and collaborate with developers, growth marketers, and business units to deliver brand-consistent design.

You will lead end-to-end UX design, create wireframes and prototypes in Figma, ensure WCAG accessibility, and contribute to ICE's design system while translating user insights into actionable design improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional UX/UI design experience.
• Strong portfolio with UX and UI work.
• Experience with responsive web design and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX design efforts across ICE web properties, including user research, journey mapping, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, and final visual design.
• Design intuitive, accessible, and brand-consistent interfaces for marketing pages and web-based platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing and business stakeholders to define requirements, align on design direction, and ensure feasibility of design solutions within technical constraints.
• Produce high-quality UX deliverables including user flows, wireframes, interaction specs, component documentation, site maps, and high-fidelity prototypes using tools such as Figma.
• Contribute to and help maintain ICE's design system, ensuring consistency of UI components, typography, color, and interaction patterns across all digital touchpoints.
• Create responsive design layouts that perform seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile environments.
• Test and iterate on UI elements - including CTAs, page layouts, navigation, data visualizations, and landing pages - based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure visual and UX consistency across campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
• Present design concepts, rationale, and iteration history clearly to stakeholders and be able to articulate and defend design decisions with confidence.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging design tools, accessibility standards (WCAG), and innovations in financial technology UX.
