Job description

Company Profile:

The focus of the company is to connect the human experience for good in a community forum. The company is an early-stage startup, currently in stealth mode. Goal for launch: Q3 2026. Core UI/UX is ready for launch but tweaks can be made. More details will be provided after an NDA has been signed.

Position Overview:

The core of the UI has been designed by the founder in figma and the front end core code (react native) has been built, but there are some features still to be added. Focus is on launching and gaining traction for a community platform:

Core Responsibilities

  • Must have experience in figma

  • End-to-End Product Design: Help manage the full design process, from initial concepts to high-fidelity, pixel-perfect mockups for mobile and web apps.

  • App specific

  • iOS (App Store): Adhering strictly to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, focusing on flat design, clean aesthetics, and fluid animations.

  • Android (Google Play): Following Material Design guidelines, which emphasize elevation, motion, and responsiveness across a wider variety of screen sizes.

  • Developer Handoff: Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs, providing detailed specifications and assets.

  • User Research & Testing: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to identify pain points and validate new features (e.g., chat, feeds, posting mechanisms).

  • UI/Visual Design: Adjust the visual elements including icons, button states, color palettes, and typography that align with the brand’s identity.

  • Rapid Iteration: Analyze in-app user data and feedback to iterate quickly on design improvements to increase retention and engagement.

Specific to Relehelp

  • Content Feed Design: Optimizing how content is displayed and consumed to increase time spent on the app.

  • Micro-interactions & Animations: Creating delightful and engaging interactions for actions like liking, sharing, or commenting.

  • Onboarding Flows: Designing seamless, engaging, and fast sign-up and onboarding processes to maximize new user acquisition.

  • Accessibility & Inclusivity: Ensuring the platform is accessible to all users.

  • Design System Management: Creating and maintaining a library of UI components to ensure consistency across the product as it scales.

Compensation:

Equity on a vesting schedule and salary upon successful raise of capital. The opportunity will be part-time before venture capital.
