Job summary
Charles River Analytics, a GRVTY company, Cambridge, MA, seeks an UX Scientist in Human Computer Interaction to advance human-AI interfaces in complex environments. Lead researchers, designers, and engineers to understand user needs and to prototype interactive solutions partnering with autonomous systems.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HCI/HSI, DoD-related proposal and program experience, and a strong publication record.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in HCI/HSI or similar fields.
- Domain experience in autonomous systems or intelligence analysis.
- PI/PM experience capturing and leading applied R&D programs with government sponsors.
- Experience with DoD proposals and customer engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present at conferences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow teams of researchers, designers, and engineers.
- Define and direct technical work in human-AI interaction.
- Develop interfaces that support decision-making in challenging work environments.
- Build relationships with customers, sponsors, and partners.
- Contribute to proposals, reports, and publications.
